What GlobeDirect is
GlobeDirect is a nonstop flight route intelligence and fare discovery tool. We help travelers explore direct international routes and compare estimated fares across departure airports.
Information we collect
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your name and email address to manage your account.
- Google OAuth data: When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile and email information from Google to create and manage your GlobeDirect account.
- Search activity: We collect your origin, destination, month, and route/fare interactions to provide search results and improve the product.
- Subscription and billing status: We store your subscription status from Stripe (e.g., active, canceled) to manage access to paid features. We do not store full credit card details.
- Analytics and usage data: We collect product usage data to understand how people use GlobeDirect and improve the experience.
- Technical data: We automatically collect browser type, device information, IP-derived approximate location, server logs, and cookies or local storage data needed to operate the service.
How we use your information
- Provide and improve route and fare search functionality
- Manage your account and subscriptions

Third-party services
GlobeDirect uses third-party service providers to operate the product, including:
- Authentication and database providers (e.g., Supabase) for account management and data storage
- Google OAuth for sign-in authentication
- Stripe for payment processing and subscription management
- Flight data providers for fare and route information
- Travelpayouts and affiliate partners for outbound booking links
- Analytics providers (e.g., PostHog) to understand product usage
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we use the basic profile and email information provided by Google only to create and manage your GlobeDirect account. We do not sell Google user data.
Payments
Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. GlobeDirect does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Affiliate links
Some outbound booking links on GlobeDirect may be affiliate links. GlobeDirect may earn a commission if you book or take an action after clicking an affiliate link. This does not change the price you see.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the product, to comply with legal obligations, to prevent abuse, or at your direction.
Data retention
We retain account, search, billing-status, and analytics data as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product.
Your choices
- Manage your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal
- Contact us to request account or data deletion
- Sign out or stop using the service at any time
Children
GlobeDirect is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
